Step by step

Your application journey in 6 steps

Applying to study abroad can feel overwhelming. Kawan Global breaks it into clear steps — and handles the hard parts for you at zero cost.

  1. Step 1

    Free consultation & profile assessment

Reach out via WhatsApp or our application form. Share your academic results, budget, and preferred field of study. Our counsellors assess your profile and recommend 2–3 universities that genuinely fit — with real tuition fees shown upfront.

    • Have SSC/HSC or O/A-Level results ready
    • Tell us your budget range — we match honestly
    • No payment or commitment required at this stage
    • We reply within 24 hours on WhatsApp
  2. Step 2

    Document preparation

Once you choose a university and programme, we send a personalised checklist. Our team reviews your transcripts, certificates, passport copy, and photos to ensure everything meets university and EMGS standards before submission.

    • Passport valid at least 18 months recommended
    • Certified copies of academic transcripts
    • Passport photos — white background, recent
    • English test results if required (IELTS/MUET)
    • We organise files for university and EMGS submission
  3. Step 3

    University application

We submit your application to the chosen university on your behalf and follow up until you receive an offer letter. We explain conditional vs unconditional offers and help you understand total costs before you accept.

    • Processing time: typically 1–3 weeks
    • We track application status and update you via WhatsApp
    • Compare offer letters if applying to multiple universities
    • Deposit or processing fees go directly to the university
  4. Step 4

    Accept offer letter

Review your offer letter carefully with our counsellors. Once you accept, pay any required university deposit or processing fee directly to the institution. We then begin EMGS visa preparation immediately.

    • Verify course name, intake date, and tuition fees
    • Understand payment schedule before accepting
    • Keep digital copies of your signed offer letter
    • Inform us immediately once payment is confirmed
  5. Step 5

    EMGS visa application

We submit your student pass application to Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) with all required documents. Our team monitors progress daily and updates you at each stage — you can also track status on our website using your passport number.

    • EMGS processing: typically 2–6 weeks
    • Medical check-up at approved panel clinic may be required
    • Student insurance is mandatory for EMGS
    • Track your status at /track-application
    • VAL (Visa Approval Letter) issued before travel
  6. Step 6

Fly to Malaysia & settle in

Visa approved! We coordinate airport pickup, accommodation near campus, and university registration day support. Our Malaysia team remains your local contact throughout your studies — for visa renewals, university issues, or emergencies.

    • Book flights only after VAL is issued
    • Our team meets you at the airport in Malaysia
    • Complete student pass endorsement within required timeframe
    • Open local bank account and get a Malaysian SIM
    • 24/7 WhatsApp support continues after arrival

No. Our counselling, application support, document review, EMGS submission, and airport pickup are 100% free. You only pay official fees — university tuition, EMGS charges, medical check-up, and your living costs.

Yes. Everything happens via WhatsApp, email, and our online application form. Students from Bangladesh and worldwide complete the entire process remotely.

Many students start with Foundation or Diploma programmes. Our counsellors will recommend the best pathway based on your results — we never push you into a course you cannot succeed in.

Start at least 3–4 months before your preferred intake (February, July, or September). Early application gives more time for documents, offer letters, and EMGS processing without rushing.
